On an elevated outlook in the village of Inverie, Knoydart House your luxury holiday cottage accommodation overlooks Loch Nevis (Gaelic for Heaven), 5 minutes from the pier, the village and The Old Forge (mainland Britain’s remotest pub) with three munros at our shoulders and semi secluded in under half an acre of private woodland. South facing by design the house is bathed in all day sunlight with panoramic 180 degree views of the loch. The woodland has Scots pine, silver birch, large copper beeches with carpets of wildflowers, monbresia, wild Knoydart wood sorrel, blackberries, raspberries and mushrooms, enjoy our woodland hideaway in all seasons. You will more often than not, share the wraparound decking with roe deer, stags, hinds, pine martins and other woodland foragers. Perfect for relaxing with your alfresco coffee first thing, watch an eagle glide overhead, an otter return from its morning dip or a boat slip its tender rope and head out across the bay. At dusk enjoy the night sky above, have a nightcap in the giant hot tub while catching up on the days events.   Knoydart is known as “Britain’s last wilderness” where you can slow down and breathe easy in your own time and space all too easily!
