From your holiday cottage on Knoydart you can choose to be as active as you like

Deep Tissue or Relax Massage we can arrange a professional massage session with an excellent qualified sports massage therapist who will come to  Knoydart House by request for guests. Bookings require to be for a minimum of 3 guests requesting individual 1 hour sessions. This can be requested at time of booking or arranged just prior to arrival.

Low levels walks along the shoreline before supper, beach strolls at sunrise, climb a few munros, hill walking, hill running, deer stalking, stalking with a camera, go on a ranger guided walk, historical walks can be arranged, daytrips to the small isles, isle of Skye or further afield.

Go dolphin, seal and mike whale spotting. Charter a boat to visit Camusfearna where Ring of Bright Water originated. Take a day trip on the Jacobite steam train as featured in Harry Potter. An outing to Camusdarach where the infamous Local Hero beach scenes were flimed.

Boat Charters What about Kinloch Castle on Rum (formerly known as the forbidden isle) where the castle has the one of only a few last working orchestrions in the world and where once stood a conservatory with cayman and hummingbirds. Visit Arisaig for a spot of kayaking or catch a fast boat ride up to Eilean Donan Castle, or Claire MacDonalds Michelin starred restaurant in Skye.

Knoydart has a new Pony Trekking School, just opened where you can take a half hour lesson, trek by the hour, half day, full day or block book for a group. All ages can participate in a pony trek on Knoydart, telephone Angela Williams on 01687 460046

Sea Angling day trips with rods and seafood hamper (optional) in the comfort of your own private sea charter can be booked in advance of arrival on request.

Clay Pigeon Shooting / Quad Biking For the more adventurous we have an exclusive excursion to Skye with a local activities provider including a half or whole days package choice or combination of quad biking, clay pigeons minimum number of 6 required, ideal for a family get together, boys or girls day out. This requires to be booked a few days in advance but can be requested prior to arrival or at the beginning of your holiday to arrange boat schedules for your party.
